I am sorry to report that marking of the essays has been delayed by apparent instances of plagiarism that require investigation as they arise.
I will do my best to get the marks released by Wednesday 12 September (I am on leave from 5 to 10 September), but this will depend on the total number of cases requiring investigation.
I am confident, however, that the majority of the class have not committed any offence, so please do not panic unnecessarily. All apparent cases of plagiarism will be handled confidentially when the relevant evidence has been collated, and the cases discussed with the Course Coordinator.
